Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer
A strong communication network is critical to the Army's success. A Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer works directly on communication devices and equipment that communicate through more than one channel. They are responsible for installation, repair, operation and maintenance check of these devices, antennae and associated equipment.
Some of your duties as a Multichannel Transmission Systems Operator-Maintainer may include:
- Install, operate, and perform unit level maintenance on assigned equipment
- Analyze BIT/BITE diagnostics to isolate faults to the Line Replaceable Unit
- Install, operate, perform strapping, restrapping, maintenance, and unit level maintenance on security devices
- Operate and perform Maintenance on assigned vehicles
- Install, operate, and perform maintenance on assigned power generators
