An Avionic Communications Equipment Repairer is an essential member of the Army communications maintenance team and is primarily responsible for performing field and sustainment level maintenance on aircraft communications equipment. Some of your duties as an Avionic Communications Equipment Repairer may include:
- Maintain, test and repair communication equipment
- Install and repair circuits and wiring
- Calibrate and align equipment components
- Troubleshoot faulty communications equipment
- Replace faulty components and parts
- Modify communication equipment
- Perform operator maintenance on tools and test equipment
