Description:JOB DETAILS:Biomedical Equipment Specialist Electronic instruments are used in all areas of the Army, especially within the Army's health care team. The Biomedical Equipment Specialist is primarily responsible for servicing and maintaining all medical equipment. The equipment you'll be working with will possibly involve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electronic, digital, optical and radiological principals.
Job training for a Medical Equipment Repairer requires nine weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 41 weeks of Advanced Individual Training, including practice in repairing and replacing equipment parts. Part of this time is spent in the classroom and part in the field. Some of the skills you learn are:
